"I'm 27, have 18 kids and 3 more on the way!" - meet sperm donor Kyle Gordy
This is Kyle Gordy.
He's 27, lives in Los Angeles and is a business accounting graduate. Oh, and he has 18 children (and three on the way!)
He's not married to, or even in a relationship with any of the mothers of his kids. Kyle is a sperm donor and, aside from expenses, donates his sperm for free to women struggling with infertility issues.
He spoke to CapeTalk's Sara-Jayne King to explain how and why he does what he does.
It happened almost five years ago. I saw how sperm banks charge people almost $2000 to inseminate them and I was like, wait a minute, I have free sperm!Kyle Gordy, sperm donor
But is it entirely altruistic on Kyle's part, or is there more to it than that?
If I can help someone save money, that's cool, but also the primal urge - it's pretty hard to deny it.Kyle Gordy, sperm donor
Kyle says when it comes to insemination he's not adverse to going the traditional route.
The last women to get pregnant flew me out to San Franciso and we did have sex to get pregnant.Kyle Gordy, sperm donor
