City of Cape Town 'hopeful' MyCiti N2 service back on track by end of July

The service was suspended more than a month ago due to a contractual dispute.

More than a month after Cape Town's MyCiTi N2 express bus service was suspended due to a contractual dispute, Mayoral Committee member for Transport Felicity Purchase says she's optimistic that a solution will be found soon.

Purchase tells CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies that she is waiting for an update about a meeting that took place on Thursday, but is confident that an agreement will be reached.

I have spoken to the officials and they are confident that we are on the right page.

I feel like the lawyers are confusing things. I can't tell you what the issues are at this stage but there is legal stuff that we need to get correct, but I am confident that we will get there.
