Bruce Whitfield chats to the businesswoman and philanthropist about her big thematic takeouts at WEF so far.

Education is a major talking point at this year's World Economic Forum after most schools across having to adapt to virtual methods in order to continue the academic year during the pandemic. Many higher education facilities have implemented digitally exclusive initiatives, such as the University of Cape Town's Online High School.

The Money Show's Bruce Whitfield met up with UCT's Chancellor Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe, to chat about the South African presence at WEF, empowering the youth and the opportunities within blended education practices.

Dr Moloi-Motsepe, a regular at WEF due to her established career in business and philanthropy, also mentioned the increasing number of powerful women in attendance at the global event.

I think blended models of learning are becoming very critical and important. Not everybody can be at a centre for higher learning or university. People also learn in different stages of their lives.
