Tesla loses breath-taking amounts of money every nanosecond, yet the brand is gold. Bruce Whitfield interviews ad guru Andy Rice.

Every week The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield asks branding and advertising expert Andy Rice to share with him the week’s advertising “heroes” and “zeroes”.

This week, Rice critiqued Elon Musk’s “Tesla” and an outdoor advertiser called “Front Seat”.

Rice gave Tesla a “hero” rating.

Tesla loses breath-taking amounts of money every nanosecond.

Its cars are too expensive for all but the 0.1%.

Yet, everyone and their aunties love the brand, built with news headlines, as opposed to advertising.

Elon Musk knows how to manipulate the media, said Rice.

“Front Seat” gets a “zero”.
